Warner Bros Set To Battle Marvel In New Superhero Movie
Warner Bros have announced they will be releasing epic superhero movie the Justice League in the summer of 2015, going up against Marvel’s own superhero movie The Avengers 2.
It might be just under three years away from now, but excitement has already surfaced after Warner Bros revealed their new ensemble film the Justice League, which will feature a line up of DC comic book heroes, will be released in cinemas at the same time as Marvel’s sequel to the successful Avengers film which was released earlier this year.
This summer Warner Bros final Batman film The Dark Knight Rises, was surprisingly trumped by Marvel’s The Avengers, which became the third biggest grossing film of all time.
The Avengers featured an ensemble line up of Marvel comic book characters, including Thor, The Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America, who have all also had their own individual movies.
Marvel have announced they plan to include even more characters in the sequel, which will reach cinemas in the summer of 2015, whilst they also plan to release both another Iron Man and Thor sequel film next year.
In a bid to compete with Marvel’s rising popularity, Warner Bros and DC Comics, will release their first ensemble film featuring their own popular characters including: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and The Flash, making 2015 an epic battle of the superheroes.
