Unique and traditional gifts: 30th wedding anniversary gift ideas
Some unique and traditional gift ideas for that upcoming 30th Anniversary party.
Well they made it 30 years of wedded bliss. Now what do you do to help them celebrate and make the event as special and spectacular as possible. You do not want to be an old stick in the mud and do the same old routine, but then again you want to show that you have a traditional side also.
Gift them with a night full of stars like little diamonds in the sky, send them to a planetarium. Say to them that their love and commitment to one another is as long lasting as the stars in the heavens and shines as bright as a diamond reflecting the suns rays.
Send them oyster diving to find their own pearls. This says to them that their love is as deep and ever shifting as the ocean itself and that, that one tiny grand of sand though annoying at times makes a most wonderful and lasting impression.
Send them on a mammoth hunt. Ok so mammoths are extinct, so gift them with a trip to the nearest history museum. Show them that you think they are a couple that should go down in the history books and that they will be remembered down through the ages.
Throw them a theme party. Picture this if you will, a banquet table covered in an ivory table cloth. Vases of sweet pea’s all around. Pearlized dinner plates. Oysters fixed in all kinds of ways, stuffed, fried, stews etc.. I think you get the point. Pearlized napkin rings with oysters embossed on them. Do you see where I am heading?
You can always go with the traditional pearl necklace for her, but spice it up a little bit; get the multicolored pearls that show that there are as many facets to her as there are to them. Gift him with ivory cuff links that show a sense of elegance and long lasting endurance.
No matter what you buy or where you send them make sure that it has your own personal taste and that it shows how much you admire and respect them for the accomplishment that they have achieved. Whether you use one of the ideas listed above or whether you let your own imagination run wild remember that they have come a long way together and that your gift should show that you foresee them having many more years to come.
Think of the people whom you are buying for and their taste and style. Are they simply traditionalist or are they truly kids at heart? Whichever the case may be I am sure that they will appreciate the thought and effort that you put forth. I sincerely hope that my ideas have helped and I wish you all the best in your endeavor. On a final note here is another idea on my way out, send them to Disney Land for we are all really kids at heart in the end.
