Tyra Banks Set To Make A TV Show Based Upon Her Life
Tyra Banks is set to turn her life into a TV show, as it’s revealed ABC have picked up a script created by her, based on her teenage life as a model.
The America’s Next Top Model presenter and chat show host has reportedly sold a script to ABC network for a comedy TV show based on her teenage years, as she progressed from awkward teenager, to a young fashion model.
38 year-old Tyra is expected to become executive producer of the new show, as well as co-creator, alongside her close friend Kenya Barris, who she met at high school.
Barris is an experienced TV writer, who has worked on successful TV shows such as I Hate My Teenage Daughter and The Game, as well as previously working alongside Tyra on America’s Next Top Model.
The New York Post have revealed that the show is set to be called ‘Fivehead’, showing Tyra has a sense of humour, comically referring to her large forehead.
Despite openly suffering from low self-esteem due to being bullied at high-school, ‘Fivehead’ will show how Tyra overcame this, to become one of the most successful models of all time.
It is thought that filming for ‘Fivehead’ will commence in the New Year, with the show premiering on ABC later in 2013.
