Tom Cruise’s Son Lands Major Movie Role
Tom Cruise’s son Connor Cruise has just landed his first major movie role.
17 year-old Connor is the son of Tom Cruise and his ex-wife Nicole Kidman. Keen to follow in his parent’s footsteps aspiring actor Connor is set to star in a remake of the 1980’s teen action film Red Dawn.
The original Red Dawn film featured a teenage Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey and Charlie Sheen, all who went on to achieve great acting success.
The remake is set to follow a group of teenagers who must work to save Washington DC from invading soldiers from North Korea. Connor will star as Daryl Bates, a member of the armed resistance forces.
Chris Hemsworth, Isabel Lucas and Josh Hutherson will also star in the film. Despite not being released in cinemas until this November, filming for the Red Dawn remake took place 3 years ago ready for a 2010 release. The release was however delayed due to a lack of funds.
Connor who also works as a DJ made his big screen acting debut in Will Smith’s 2008 hit film ‘Seven Pound’s. Now Connor has secured a major role in another blockbuster film, many predict that Connor, who shares the same acting talent as his parents, is set to be a huge star.
