The colors of Baroque in Bali
Fashion Industry has always been inspired by prints and designs that once used to be a part of history. Baroque period has left the legacy of signature prints and gold stitches that modern day designers use in styling their dresses.
Fashion trends in 2012 seems to be spelled by delicate fabrics and patterns that the royal families in Baroque used to wear in16th and 17th century.
You can find a reflection of these designs in top brands like Gucci and Gabbana as well.
With the ongoing growth of Fashion Industry many Youngsters are coming up with unique ideas and proving their abilities. A classic collection of party and bridal dresses, shoes, make up and photography was held by Angie Blaire of Indonesia in the opening of the ceremony in the house of Blaire.
Graduated from the Bunka School of Fashion, this young designer wants to make the house of Blaire a source of inspiration for upcoming designers.
She has tried to revive the dresses that Baroque princess used to carry. As compared to other designers, Angie has used more colorful designs to offer a more joyful experience to modern day princesses. One thing that Angie emphasizes in her work is styling rather than cuts as she wants to give more sort of an elegant touch in her dresses.
This colorful evening named ‘Allergo’ was held in Bali, Indonesia. The collection displayed was dominated by bright colors like red, yellow, green and blue. Black color especially in velvet was also used on some pieces to highlight the print and decorative pattern used. Golden jacquard added to the elegancy to Baroque collection.
This stunning show was complemented by Vilia Ciptura with accessories and Nefrin Fadlan with her latest designed high heels.
The fashion show started with Contrast Baroque collection featuring cocktail dresses. The lime light of the show were the beautifully designed black velvet dresses with golden lace to be used as a cocktail dresses and long black sleeveless gowns.
Apart from Baroque period, a collection of western bridal gowns added colors to the fashion show and making a joyful end to the evening.
