Stars Desperate To Land Role In Disney’s Star Wars
Since Walt Disney last week announced that they are planning to work on a seventh Star Wars movie, after purchasing the iconic film franchise from Star Wars director George Lucas’ Lucas Film, Hollywood’s biggest stars are said to be desperate to put themselves forward for a part in the revamped film.
Speaking to TMZ, Carrie Fisher admitted she would love to reprise the role of Princess Leia in Disney’s Star Wars, whilst Harrison Ford has also expressed his desire to return to the sci-fi franchise as Han Solo.
Whilst it currently remains unclear whether producers at Disney are looking towards using former cast members, many believe it is more likely that they will seek to find an entirely new cast, in accordance with revamping the franchise.
Rumors indicate that the seventh Star Wars film will be set after the Return of The Jedi, continuing from the last film released by Lucas.
