Sacha Baron Cohen Reveals Plans For Comedy Show
Sacha Baron Cohen has revealed his plans to create a new comedy TV series, based on the true story of a billionaire who offered $65million to any man who could turn his lesbian daughter straight.
Sacha, the man who created and played comical characters Ali G, Borat, Bruno, and more recently The Dictator, is known for his risquÈ humor, and controversial take on creating characters which play up to extreme stereotypes.
Paramount Pictures will be teaming up with Sacha for the new comedy series, which is rumored to be titled: The Lesbian.
The comedy will be based upon the Hong Kong billionaire Cecil Chao who recently made headlines, when he offered to pay any man who could convert his lesbian daughter to become straight the huge $65million sum.
As usual Sacha will play a lead role in the new show, which is will follow the billionaire try to find male suitors to marry his lesbian daughter Gigi, despite the fact she married her long-term female partner in a civil ceremony.
The show is the second new project Sacha is currently working on with Paramount Pictures. 40 year-old Sacha, and director Phil Johnston recently sold an untitled film project to the production studio, which is set to be a James Bond spy-style spoof.
Meanwhile Sacha will soon be seen playing a more serious role, in the film release of the iconic musical Les Miserables, where he stars alongside Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried.
