Russell Crowe Parts From Wife Of Nine Years In Shock Split
Hollywood actor Russell Crowe has split from his wife of nine years Danielle Spencer, in what is described as a shock split.
Russell and Danielle are the latest celebrities whose marriage has fallen apart, as it’s revealed the actor who is due to appear in the upcoming film adaptation of hit musical Les Miserables, has thrown himself into his work after struggling to come to terms with the separation.
The couple, married in 2003 in a custom-built chapel on their farm and went on to have two children together, Charles and Tennyson who are said to be devastated by the break up.
It is thought that Russell’s busy work schedule over the last few years caused tension between him and Danielle, who felt that Russell didn’t spend enough time at home with her and the children.
Whilst it’s not unusual for celebrity marriages to fail, Russell and Danielle has appeared to outsiders as one of the only strongest and most solid marriages in Hollywood, and was therefore a shock.
Since splitting Danielle and the children have stayed in their home in Sydney, Australia, while Russell is currently over in the US filming his upcoming movie Noah- a retelling of the biblical tale.
Those close to Russell have reported that the star seems to be struggling to cope with the split, working excessively, whilst his looks and personal hygiene have gone out the window.
