Rihanna’s Grandmother’s Clara Braithwaite Funeral May Cost a Hefty Lawsuit
Rihana threw her beloved grandmother,Clara Braithwaite, an extravagent funeral back in June 2012. the reception reportedly tents, large multimedia screens and many flower arrangements.
It is being reported that funeral company Rihana hired is filing a lawsuit against the pop star. They claim Rihana paid a quarter of the owed $150,000 and refused to pay more. She had been overcharged.
Her grandmother had been staying in New York for treatment recently, with Rihana taking time out from her busy schedule earlier this month to spend time with her.
Rihana Grandmother, whom she called as “Gran Gran Dolly”had suffered long battle with cancer and died in New york hospital. Rihana hosted memorial services in Brooklyn and Barbados according to reports from last year.
She shared a series of recent as well as old photos of her Grandmother with fans on twitter, as well as receiving grievances from both ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and his mother, Joyce Hawkins.
Chris Posted that “She was like my grandmother. Love you GRAN GRAN ! RIP”.

Despite this loss Rihana still went ahead with her schedule performance at the Peace and Love festival in Sweden, following her recent stay in UK last week to start working on her seventh studio album.
