Rihanna Sends Caring Tweet To Ex-Boyfriend Chris Brown
Pop star Rihanna reached out to ex-boyfriend Chris Brown with a caring tweet prior to his probation court hearing, it has been revealed.
It is no secret that Rihanna still has a close relationship with Chris Brown, despite the infamous pre-Grammy awards incident, which saw Chris shockingly, beat her up. The singer recently declared her love for him to chat show host Oprah and has been sending various cryptic messages to him for months, much to the dislike of Chris’ girlfriend model Karrueche Tran.
It is then perhaps no surprise that 24 year-old Rihanna directly sent Chris the following good luck message on Twitter yesterday, ahead of Chris appearing in court for a probation progress hearing: “I’m praying for you and wishing u the best today!” After the message Chris tweeted: “Thank u so much”
Rihanna continued to show her support for Chris writing in a more cryptic tweet not directly to him: “Praying for you baby, my best wishes are with you today! Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DONE #1Love”
Unfortunately for Chris, Rihanna’s caring messages were not enough to help him in court. The Los Angeles judge declared he had tested positive for marijuana, whilst carrying out community service back in June in Virginia. At the time Chris claimed he had a medical marijuana prescription in California, and had taken the drug there. However even if you have a medical prescription marijuana is illegal in Virginia.
The judge eventually decided that as Chris wasn’t instructed to not take drugs in his first court order, the matter would not affect his probation. She did however issue him the following stern warning that such actions will not be tolerated in the future: “You are not an average person who can sit in their living room and do what you want to do. You are not only in the public eye, but you are on probation. A lot of people look up to you- a lot of kids. What you do and what you say impacts other people.”
Meanwhile Chris will return to court in November for another probation update. Investigations as to whether he has broken other probation rules are being carried out.
