Record Label Pay Millionaire One Direction Stars Rent
It has been uncovered that Simon Cowell’s record label Syco are still paying rent for two members of boy band One Direction, despite the fact the boys are multi-millionaires.
Reports reveal that band members Liam Payne and Niall Horan, still rely on their management to pay the majority of their rent, with Simon Cowell covering the costs for the young stars to live in plush London apartments.
All five members of the band originally moved into a plush north London complex paid for by their record label Syco when they got signed two years ago.
Since One Direction have achieved worldwide fame, and raked in over $100million, members Harry, Zayn and Louis have all moved out of the paid for complex, purchasing or renting their own apartments, covering all costs themselves.
Meanwhile Liam and Niall still live in the complex, with Simon continuing to pay their rent.
At the moment Liam and Niall have to pay just a small token fee towards the expensive rent, whilst the label take care of the rest. Eventually the boys will be liable to pay it all, however it seems there is no rush for this.
Lead singer Harry, recently purchased a $3million bachelor pad in a more up-market area in London, close to fellow band member Louis’ $2million pad he moved into earlier this year.
Whilst Liam is rumored to be thinking of becoming independent and finally finding his own home and , Niall is thought to be happy staying put at the complex.
