Probe Advised Over Missing Thai Atmosphere Activist
Relations and human privileges groups advised Thai authorities on Monday to examine the vanishing of an environmental activist whoever has functioned to aid ethnic Karen inhabitants report unlawful activity at Thailand’s leading national park.

Human Rights Watch also conveyed concern for Billy’s vanishing and told the park chief, Chaiwat Limlikitaksorn, was being examined on doubt of planning the murder of an activist from Billy’s net in 2011 whoever had helped traditional Karen inhabitants report abuses, forcefulness, unlawful logging, and poaching supposedly committed by park administrators.
Chaiwat has not been postponed from duty as is needed for executives under criminal analysis, Human Privileges Watch said. “Chaiwat’s attendance at the national park has been a reason of fear amongst local activists and inhabitants, mainly those involved in litigations alongside him,” it said.
A park intern, Issara Seuksahet, told by phone from Chaiwat’s workplace that Billy was seen riding a yellow motorbike in the rain afterward he was released.
