Prince William Rumored To Leave RAF For Royal Duties
It is believed that Prince William is planning on leaving the RAF to dedicate his time to royal duties, after rumors speculate that he and wife Kate Middleton are set to create their own court at Kensington Palace.
Until now, since getting married in April last year Prince William, the second in line to the British throne, and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, have been living in a cottage in Anglesey, where William work as an RAF search-and-rescue pilot.
Sources have revealed that the couple, both 30, are planning on establishing their own powerbase at Kensington Palace, as William prepares to leave the RAF in favor of taking on the royal duties expected of a future monarch.
It is thought that William and Kate will become residents of Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace, where Princess Margaret used to live, by the New Year, with more than a dozen staff set to move to the royal residence in West London next month.
According to reports, Prince Charles, the heir to the throne, will foot the bill for the move, which will also see Prince Harry transfer from St James’s Palace to Kensington with William and Kate. Meanwhile, Camilla The Duchess of Cornwall is reported to have offered to pay for Kate to have a whole new working wardrobe, so she can look the part whilst carrying out her new duties.
