Pippa Middleton Celebrates Rising Book Sales Thanks To Support From Family And Friends
It was recently reported that Kate Middleton’s sister Pippa Middleton’s debut party planning book Celebrate has been branded a huge flop, after suffering from disappointing sales. It has now been revealed that the book has had a sudden boost of sales in the party planners hometown thanks to the rallying support of her friends and family.
According to The Telegraph newspaper, Pippa’s book Celebrate has begun to fly off the shelves in book shops across Reading, close to the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire.
Sales figure have also started to pick up in exclusive areas of London, where the book is stocked nearby Pippa’s favorite London haunts.
Celebrate has been the number one bestseller in London bookshops Foyles and Hatchards, with shoppers purchasing signed copies of the book. Meanwhile in posh West London, branches of bookstore Waterstones have revealed that the book is also their top bestseller.
Sources claim the key reason for the sudden surge in sales is down to Pippa’s friends and family snapping up their own copies, whilst telling their friends to also go out and get a copy. Pippa’s various in-store signing have also made a big difference.
For instance Karin Scherer from Hatchards bookstore’s, London explained: “The reports are that it’s not selling so well in other shops, but we’ve been very fortunate. She has been in twice now to sign books and it appeals very well to our customers. They have flown off the shelves. I think a lot of our customers know her personally and of course want to support her.”
