Oprah Supports Rihanna’s Decision To Go Back To Chris
TV chat show veteran Oprah Winfrey has revealed she supports Rihanna’s decision to get back with her abusive ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, claiming she does not judge her recent interviewee.
Whilst most people feel slightly concerned about Rihanna being pictured looking cosy with former lover Chris, Oprah has spoken out supporting the singer’s choice to rekindle her relationship.
Earlier this year Rihanna appeared on Oprah’s new chat show, discussing her past relationship with the fellow singer, revealing she is still madly in love with Chris, despite him violently attacking her back in 2009.
Now Chris has broken up with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran, speculation that he is now dating Rihanna is rife.
Oprah has decided to speak out about the possible reconciliation between Rihanna and Chris, admitting on Extra, that she would not judge Rihanna for going back to him.
“I think that if she is prepared to deal with that and is prepared to help him help himself then so be it. I have no judgment about it.”
Continuing to speak on Extra, Oprah declared she had a lot of respect for how honest Rihanna was in their recent interview: “You know what I loved about that interview is that she came with a big wide open heart.”
Meanwhile Rihanna’s father also spoke out about Chris, insisting the singer should be forgiven for his attack on his daughter: “I love Chris, man. He’s got so much charisma. I think everyone makes mistakes and they shouldn’t be held to them forever. Everyone should be forgiven once. There’s a lot more to Chris than the whole world knows.”
