Natina Reed Dies In Tragic Road Accident
It has been announced that actress and singer Natina Reed has died aged 32, in a tragic road traffic accident.
Natina, a former member of R&B girl band Blaque, and star the of the teen cult movies Bring It On and Honey, was killed after being hit by a car whilst out walking on Friday evening.
The Gwinnett, Georgia police department have confirmed the news of the fatal accident, whilst releasing the following statement: “The driver of the vehicle contacted 911 to request assistance. Natina Reed was pronounced dead at Gwinnet Medical Centre at 10.59pm.”
Police have revealed that a full investigation into the Natina’s death is being carried out, but as of yet no charges have been made.
Meanwhile, Natina’s former Blaque band mates, Brandi Williams and Shamari Fears-DeVoe have issued a touching joint statement, expressing both their shock and love for their close friend:
“We are devastated by the loss of our group member, sister and friend Natina Reed. Because of the enormous support of Blaque fans and our love for each another, Blaque officially reunited this fall and we were in the process of working on a new album and a reality show.”
“Natina continuously embodied the pioneering spirit of Blaque and her undeniable creativity touched the hearts of fans everywhere. Natina was a mother, sister, accomplished songwriter, artist and friend. We ask for your prayers at this time for Natina’s family. She will forever be missed and her global influence eternally felt. We thank God for the experience we shared.”
