Miley Cyrus Working On New Album With Hip-Hop Stars
Miley Cyrus is keen to get her music career back on track, as she reveals she is working in the studio with hip-hop record producer Pharrell Williams, and controversial rapper Tyler, the Creator, suggesting the new album will be a change in direction for the former Disney star.
19 year-old Miley rose to fame on the Disney channel popular TV show Hannah Montana, making a name for herself as both a teen pop star and an aspiring actress.
Over the last two years, Miley has however seemed to focus her attentions towards the acting side of her career working, whilst putting her music to one side.
Now the star is thought to be preparing to make a comeback with a new sound, which may surprise some of her fans.
Yesterday 38 year-old hip-hop producer Pharrell shared a photograph to his fans on Twitter of himself working with Miley and Odd Future rapper Tyler the Creator in the recording studio.
Miley is said to have developed a close bond with Pharrell over the last few months, as they pair, along with Skateboard P have been working on the production side of her upcoming new album.
Recently speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, Miley revealed: “I worked with Pharrell on a bunch of things, and Pop & Oak, and I’ve just been writing, mostly, focusing on what I want to say, rather than turning it into a label later and not knowing what my sound is going to be.”
Meanwhile, it is rumored that Miley will be releasing her first single off the new album which she has revealed will have a Motown vibe to it, next month.
