Lady Gaga Wanted For Zoolander Sequel
Lady Gaga has reportedly been offered over $1.5 million to star in a Zoolander sequel film it has been revealed.
Ben Stiller, the star of the original movie, is said to be desperate for Gaga to join the cast for the sequel film, which he is planning to star in as well as direct.
Stiller believes Gaga has a great sense of humor, which would be perfectly suited for a part in the movie, but is also considering the likes of Kate Upton, Kate Moss and Adriana Lima for the role.
The sequel film which is due to be set in Europe, will see Stiller reprise his role as male model Derek Zoolander, with funny man Owen Wilson also returning, as Hansel McDonald.
Stiller revealed a few details about the sequel which is due to begin filming next year to Empire magazine:
“I don’t want to give away too much, but it’s basically Derek and Hansel ten years later. Though the last movie ended on a happy note a lot of things have happened in the meantime. Their lives have changed and they’re not really relevant anymore. It’s a new world for them.”
Whilst it remains unknown whether Gaga is likely to join the cast of Zoolander, if she does sign up for the film it would not be her first time acting on the big screen.
Aged just 15 Gaga, stared in a recurring small role on popular TV show The Sopranos. Gaga also made a small cameo appearance in Men In Black 3 which was released earlier this year, and is due to make her first major acting debut in Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming new film Machete Kills.
