Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson – It goes on…
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson might be giving their relationship another go after the actress’ short-lived fling with married director Rupert Sanders, but according to a source their reconciliation is extremely fragile.
While Rob has reportedly agreed to another try at their romance following 22 year-old Kristen’s affair with the ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’ director, those people close to the couple are finding it hard believe that things will last between them.
“Kristen and Rob’s friends really don’t believe that this reconciliation is going to last. Rob believes that Kristen didn’t sleep with Rupert Sanders, but the fact is, she still cheated on him. Rob’s pals think it was easier for him to get back together with her right now because of the upcoming publicity blitz they are going to embark on to promote Breaking Dawn” a source said.
They added: “Kristen definitely convinced Rob that this was going to be a bitter-sweet time for them, because this is the last Twilight movie. Kristen loves Rob, no question about it, but she just isn’t as mature as he is. Rob’s buddies would be stunned if the couple goes the distance. They had a dramatic makeup. But Rob is extra-sensitive right now. He’s insecure.”
It has been said that the couple have have reconciled following a tearful and emotional meeting earlier this month and though Rob is trying to put the cheating scandal behind him, he is alleged to have told the actress he might not be able to “forgive and forget”.
“Rob has had a lot of time to reflect on what has happened and, while he may still be hurting, he has also come to realize just how important Kristen is to him. He has warned Kristen that he might never be able to forgive and forget. But he’s agreed to give it a month to see if they can make it work. If they can’t he says he will walk away.”
To us, it looks like their relationship is going pretty well. Kristen was seen looking unusually happy as she arrived for the Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday…
