Kardashian’s Face Court Battle Over Make-Up Line
It has been reported that the Kardashian sisters are set to face a bitter court battle over their Khroma Beauty make-up line, as it is revealed the brand’s name is already taken.
Reality TV stars Kim, Kourntey and Khloe Karadashian already have a hugely successful clothing line, the Kardashian Kollection, as well as their own fragrance. Not happy to stop there, the Keeping Up With The Kardashian stars have also created their own make-up line.
The sisters plans to take over the beauty industry may however be put on hold, as it has emerged the trio have been accused of stealing the Khroma name from an existing high-end make-up line.
According to TMZ Michael Rey, co-owner of the brand in the question Chroma Makeup, in Beverly Hills has spoken out about the Kardashian’s stealing his line’s name, stating: “It took 12 years of blood, sweat and tears to build.”
Rey continued to state that the Kardashian’s affordable make-up line has cheapened his high-end products due to confusion in the market place, which is why he has already hired a legal team, preparing for a court battle with the reality stars.
Meanwhile, Rey finished his interview with TMZ by highlighting that Chroma Makeup is in no way associated with the Kardashian brand Khroma Beauty.
