Kristen Stewart topless – how does it feel on the big screen?
Kristen Stewart goes topless in her latest film, ‘On the Road’ (a big screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s famous book), but the actress says she wasn’t nervous about the on-screen nudity, thanks to director Walter Salles.
“It didn’t bother me,” Kristen, 22, said at the Toronto International Film Festival of her exposed scenes in the movie. “You can do no wrong with him. He puts so much inside of you. In the four-week rehearsal process, it was okay to ask any question, to bring up any story, to really overanalyse everything and intellectualise everything,” she added.
The actress, who will next been seen in the final Twilight instalment, Breaking Dawn – Part 2, said she and her ‘On The Road’ co-stars (Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, Kirsten Dunst) were completely fixed in their roles and so prepared that they were given the freedom to improvise lines for their characters – something she found more intimidating than going topless.
“Once we got to set, it was so about just breathing and letting it happen. He put so much trust in us,” she said of her director. “So it was like, ‘Ok, so I have to take my clothes off?’ It’s so not a big deal.”
“On The Road” is rumoured to hit theaters on December 21.
