Hermione turns dance star on TV!

Emma Watson wowed the crowd at the Jimmy Fallon show this week when she offered to teach the TV host a thing or two on the dancefloor. She’s been learning some new moves for her movie ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’, and they’re actually pretty impressive!

She might not be playing Hermione anymore, but she’s still bewitching! Fallon showed footage of a dance rehearsal from her new movie ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ during his interview with the young starlet this week. After seeing how skilled she’s become, he couldn’t resist asking her for a little lesson. The actress was of course happy to oblige, and the pair ran through iconic moves from mega famous movies like ‘Singin’ In The Rain’, ‘Grease’ and ’Dirty Dancing’.

Watson readily agreed to Fallon’s dance proposal, before asking: “Are you down?” Fallon gave a good attempt at the famous Patrick Swayze lift, showed us his jazz hands and even completed the beloved carnival sequence from Grease. Emma later tweeted: “Danced with Jimmy Fallon tonight. #anotherboxticked.”
Watson looked lovely in a short floral dress teamed with red heels, and judging from the trailer she’s looking even more beautiful in her upcoming movie. ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ is a coming-of-age story based on the best-selling novel by Stephen Chbosky, and sees Emma star alongside Logan and Ezra of ‘We need to talk about Kevin’ fame.

Emma plays the role of Sam, the lead actor’s free-spirited step-sister. Talking of the movie recently, Emma said she is hoping it allows her fans to see a different side to her, rather than her Harry Potter alter-ego Hermione.

Her dancing wasn’t so great in Harry Potter, so we’re sure it’s a big improvement! Hooray for her!
