George Clooney Denies Split From Stacy Keibler
George Clooney denies splitting from girlfriend of one year Stacy Keibler as he declares, “It’s not true”.
George’s representatives were quick to deny that the actor has split from Stacy, after The Sun newspaper reported that the pairs relationship was over. The paper claimed that Stacy ended the relationship as a result of George being unwilling to commit and get married.
Stan Rosenfield, George’s PR representative issues the following statement to dismiss the rumours: “The story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. Total fabrication designed to sell newspapers.”
George started dating former WWE star Stacy in August last year, just a month after he split from his long-term girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis. George is thought to have known Stacy as a friend for several years before they began dating. The couple have since grown extremely close, frequently holidaying in George’s Italian villa in Lake Coma, as well as being seen dinning with both sets of their parents just a few months ago.
The rumours of the couples split are likely to have stemmed from the pattern of George’s previous relationships, which have seen him almost fearful of committing. For instance George’s split from Elisabetta occurred just weeks after the Italian model hinted in an interview that she would like to marry and have children with him. As well as having a number of well-known long-term girlfriends such as Lisa Snowdon, Kelly Preston and Renee Zellweger, George actually got married in 1989 to actress Talia Balsam. The marriage however ended after just four years, with George declaring he would never marry again.
Those close to George and Stacy however, reveal the couple are very much in a serious relationship, which is not just a fling. The pair are said to have a fantastic chemistry as well as sharing the same sense of humour, proving their relationship goes deeper than a mutual attraction, and suggesting Stacy may be the woman who George finally settles down with.
