Bobbi Kristina And Nick Gordon Defend Romance On Reality Show

Last night saw the premiere of the new reality TV show The Houston’s: On Our Own, with camera’s following the family of the late music star.
It is Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s 19 year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina who is the star of the Kardashian-style show, focusing on her move into her aunt and uncles home following her mother’s death.

Unsurprisingly after the first episode of The Houston’s: On Our Own aired on TV yesterday evening, many have deemed the show which was filmed just three months after Whitney’s tragic death inappropriate.

The show had an unsettling feel to it, with last night’s episode full of intrusive scenes showing the families bereavement on camera, such as teenage Bobbi visiting her mother’s grave for the very first time.

Whilst the Houston’s are shown to be coming to terms with losing Whitney, it soon becomes clear that Bobbi’s behavior is a great concern to the family, with her seen drinking alcohol despite being underage, as well as starting a relationship with her unofficially adopted brother Nick Gordon, who Whitney viewed as a son, and brother to Bobbi.

After shocking the family announcing they are engaged, Bobbi and Nick were keen to defend their questionable romance, with Nick stating on camera: “Everyone gets it wrong, I was never officially… it’s not incest.”

Bobbi’s aunt Pat, much to her prevail attempted to persuade Bobbi, to cool off the relationship with Nick and focus on grieving, whilst putting her efforts into acting, which she loves.

Meanwhile a teaser clip at the end of show suggested Bobbi’s relationship with her father Bobby Brown will feature in the upcoming series, which is sure to concern more viewers.
