Ashley Greene Blames Fame For Unlucky Love Life
Twilight’s Ashley Greene has highlighted the negatives of being a famous Hollywood actress, blaming her unlucky love life on her stardom.
The 25 year-old actress has opened up to Marie Claire about her love life in the November issue of the popular magazine, explaining that her busy work schedule makes starting relationships difficult.
Ashley revealed: “I’m always here and there – everyone in my industry is – and that’s why a lot of relationships are fleeting. I’ve gotten very good at detaching whenever I have to go away for three months, which I realize is hard on friends and kind of selfish.”
Speaking of her past romance with Joe Jonas, Ashley admitted the nine month relationship came to an end as the distance between the two stars when working, made it almost impossible to keep the relationship going.
Since the split from Joe, Ashley was briefly linked to Kings of Leon star Jared Followill, who recently got married to his new girlfriend, as well as been rumoured to have dated Broadway star Reeve Carney.
Ashley, who is currently thought to be single, is concentrating her efforts on her blossoming career, rather than facing the difficult prospect of starting a relationship, which she outlined to Marie Claire: “You go on a couple of dates, and then someone ships off to do a movie. It’s not like you’re going to fly out and see them, because it’s not serious enough for that.”
Meanwhile, Ashley is due to commence the promotional world tour for the upcoming release of the final Twilight Saga film, in November.
