Christina Applegate on pregnancy number two…
Actress Christina Applegate is treasuring every moment of being a first-time mother, but so much so that’s she’s not ready to have another baby anytime soon…
“Nope! Not yet,” the actress said when asked if she wants to have another baby by a journalist at AccessHollywood.com, who visited Christina on the set of ‘Up All Night’ in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The beautiful 40-year-old, who gave birth to daughter Sadie Grace in Jan 2011, is in awe of the changes taking place in her daughter’s development every day and doesn’t want to miss any precious moments with her baby.
“I just want to spend time with her now. I love little babies — I do — I just love this little person now. I love the talking, the conversing, giggling, being funny, dancing little person,” she said of her 20-month-old little girl. “And I want to just kind of spend that time right now and not be going, ‘Oh I can’t do that because now I’ve gotta do that.’ And I’m working and it’s just too much! “Maybe when she’s like 5, or something like that. I know, people are doing the math, like, ‘But you’ll be like, 56!’” she added with a smile.
Christina is clearly staying busy at work too. ‘Up All Night’ was renewed for a second season and when the NBC hit returns with new episodes in the fall, the actress said there will be big changes throwing a wrench in the works for both her character, Reagan Brinkley, and her best friend and boss Ava Alexander. “The biggest change is that there’s no Ava show – it has been cancelled, so Reagan is a stay-at-home mom, which changes the original concept of the show” she said.
Christina’s on-screen husband, Will Arnett (he plays Chris Brinkley), will go back to work now that Reagan is unemployed, and the lifestyle change is not an easy one for TV producer Reagan to swallow.
“They’re learning to do with this new thing. It’s difficult for her, you see she’s very controlling so… she’s making her child’s life now,” the actress and mother said.
